Open de France 2017
11th edition of French Open organized by the French Swimming Federation was held on the 1st and 2nd of July. After Paris and Vichy, the French Open has moved to Chartres, which is famous and well-known for it’s Gothic cathedral; Notre Dame de Chartres.
The Chartes outdoor 50m competition pool, has previously being used for the 2012 WEuropean Swimming Championships (25m), and one leg of the FINA Swimming World CUp in 2016 and 2016.
For the third time our club competed at the Open de France, and this year the club was represented by 20 swimmers.
Energy Standard Results
In the 50m Butterfly event, George Chernov was fourth with a result of 24.05. Nosenko Deniswas second in 24.66 in the B Final.
It is worthy to notethe performance of Maxim Stupin, who improved his personal bests in the middle distance IM events - 200m and 400m IM - 4:21.25 and 2:02.80.
Karina Bordyugova finished first in the B Final of the 50m Backstroke, her time 30.48.
Denisenko Alexandra placed fifth in the 200m IM event (2:22.03).
In the B Final of 100m Freestyle, Shahanov Semen finished his race second, with a result of 50.09.
Gerasimova Lada took part in the Final in the 100m Backstoke. She touched the wall with a seventh place 1:03.94.
In the sprint distance 50m Freestyle B Final, Shahanov Semen swum 22.98and George Chernov 23.27.
Denisenko Alexandra and Bordyugova Karinaplaced fifth and sixth respectively, in the B Final of the 50m Butterfly (28.60 and 28.71).
In the 50m Backstoke B Final, Energy Standard athletes touched first and second. This was achieved by Sukhinin Daniil (26.82) and Shorin Sergey (27.07).
